Mariana Diano is a decorative artist.
She has been working in Decorative Arts for over 20 years, painting Murals, Trompe l’oeils, Paint effects, creates Verré Eglomises and does guilding works.
Studied Art, at the Escuela Pedro Figari in Uruguay, moved to London where she continued her studies in art.
Worked for DKT Artworks, where she entered the world of Decorative arts.
She is now living in the Algarve, Portugal.
She does commissioned work for places around the world.

I first met Mariana 15 years ago when my first property in Portugal was nearing completion and I was looking for an interior decorator.
Since then she has completed a variety of different types of work for me including; specialist paint effects on the walls (creating the illusion of a hessian wallpaper effect), a whole wall fresco in an ensuite bathroom in the style of ancient Roman painting and a beautiful Trompe L’oeil mural on the outside terrace all of which showcased her versatility and talent.
She has also made a unique Verre Églomisé mirror for me with a picture of one of my dogs painted on it.
Mariana is an extremely talented artist, she is very imaginative with a great eye for how the final work will look in its’ setting and is completely honest and trustworthy.
